We sometimes have smaller pelts ($75–$125) that we deem as “craft pelts” that lend themselves well to a project that requires sheepskin components. These pelts likely have a significant hole or two or perhaps the wool pulled in some areas or felted in others during the processing. If you are interested in a craft pelt, please contact us.
Mattress Pads
100% Natural Vermont Wool Mattress Pads
Our Custom-made mattress pads are made solely with the wool from our sheep raised on our farm here in Southern Vermont. We carefully hand-skirt the wool and send it to the mill where it is washed, carded into batting, and then covered with 100% natural cotton ticking. Each mattress pad is fitted with four elastic straps to secure the pad onto your standard or deep depth mattress. These dreamy mattress pads are an investment toward a great night’s sleep for you and your family. Wool is well-known for temperature regulation (warming and cooling), is naturally antimicrobial, and anti-fungal.

Alpaca Wrapped Vermont Wool Socks
Our wool socks are machine knit by a very small family owned and operated woolen mill in the northern midwest. We naturally raise and harvest the wool on our farm, send it off to be spun into yarn with a small amount of nylon (2%) for durability. We then have the sock mill wrap our yarn in Alpaca wool for a softer “hand” to the sock while also adding even more durability.

Vermont Icelandic Wool Cotton Core Yarn: This cotton core yarn was expertly mill spun by a woman owned and operated Vermont Fiber Arts Mill. Each skein is individual with varied weights.
100% Vermont Icelandic Wool 2-Ply Yarn: This versatile 2-Ply yarn was mill spun by another woman founded and owned northeastern mill less than an hour from the farm.
100% Vermont Icelandic Lopi Yarn: Our mill spun Icelandic Lopi yarn comes from the same Vermont mill our Cotton Core yarn comes from.
